We attended a wedding this past weekend in Charleston! The ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Magnolia Plantation and gardens. The bride walked down an aisle adorned on either side by white lanterns to marry her groom beneath an ancient oak tree trimmed in Spanish Moss. The backdrop, which sat unpon a river, was breathtaking. Here are a few detail shots of her day:The Cake! Pink and Silver Fondant Icing

Before we came home, we did a little bit of sight seeing of historic Charleston. We toured the Rhett-Aiken home, walked around the Battery, and browsed through the historic Market. It is easy to fall in love with the charm of this city. Here are few snapshots of the sights:
A charming little alley with a cobblestone road
French inspired iron work
Charming window flower boxes!
