Kylee - One Year Old

It seems like just yesterday I got the phone call that this sweet baby girl was on the way - and now she's a year old! Where does the time go?! Kylee kept both her mom and me running during the photoshoot!! I daresay mom had to work harder than me chasing Kylee everytime she wandered off the backdrop! Here are just a couple of her in her princess tutu...the last one is my fav :P

We had a wonderful time in Hilton Head this weekend photographing Kelli and Mike's wedding. We just got back earlier this afternoon, so I have a lot of editing to do! But here is a sneak peek until I can post more :)

EV + Donovan

We traveled to the quaint little town of Ridgeland, SC last weekend for the wedding of EV and Donovan. The church they were married in has sentimental value for them, as it is the same church EV's parents and other close family members have also been married in. Furthermore, the church has such a rich history; It was built in the mid nineteeth century and was taken over by General Sherman as a shelter for Union Army horses during the Civil War. The church boasts original doors and wood work both inside and out. It is said that you can even still see some hoof marks on the floor boards.

Huge Oak trees dripping with spanish moss stood watch outside the church. The whole setting could not have been more picturesque. Though small, the church and surrounding grounds held a commanding presence that demanded your attention as an onlooker.

As a photographer, I daresay there are very few situations in life that a picture just cannot fully capture. These moments exist only when the beauty of a moment or a place penetrates the environment from every single angle that its impossible to experience it all from just one point of view. This was one of those moments.

So these pictures are just one point of view of the beauty that surrounded EV and Donovan on their wedding day...enjoy.

Couple of the YEAR!

Remember Tara and Jason?!

Welllll....pictures from their wedding were entered into a contest for their venue, Hamilton Mill Country Club. Hamilton Mill was looking for a "Couple of the Year" who had amazing wedding photos that showed off their property, and of all the couples who entered, the pictures we took of Tara and Jason's wedding WON!!

How exciting is that?! So what do we get?! Well, Tara and Jason get to reap most of the benefits with a dinner, golf and other goodies compliments of the club! And I think we get a round of golf that I know Bryan will LOOOVE to take advantage of, not to mention photo credit for the use of our pictures in their marketing materials! woo hoo!

Told you we had exciting things happening around here :)

In all the time that I have known Evelyn, I have never seen her as beautiful or as happy as she was on her wedding day...a church circa 1850's was the backdrop for their I Do's and the weather could not have been more beautiful! I feel so incredibly blessed to have been able to share in your day, here are just a few of my favs!

My neice, Jessica, and her friend Lily came down over the Fourth of July weekend. They both will be graduating High School next year, so we headed out for some senior photoshoot fun! 10 wardrobe changes, 3 different locations, 3 hours and 1,000 laughs later we called it a wrap!

I love you two so much! I'm so proud of all your accomplishments and both of you have so much life waiting for you...I cannot wait to see all that you become! You are so incredibly beautiful, both inside and out...these pictures are so catalog... ;)

My baby is growing up!

Okay, so hes not really my baby :) this adorable little one belongs to Tera and Pete! But I did manage to steal some sweet sugar before turning him back over to his parents! Jack was such a little trooper as we made funny faces, sounds, and dances to get him to smile and look at the camera! Poor thing just wanted to sleep...but we managed to get some great shots before he closed his little peepers and fell asleep in mama's arms...and Tera, its not even midnight yet...so HAPPY BIRTHDAY again!!! I hope you like the pictures..there are a ton of great ones, I can't wait for you to see the rest! I'll have them up soon, I promise :)

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Matcheck!

After dating for sometime, Britney and Brett made the "final upgrade" in their relationship and tied the knot last weekend! Brett is a pilot for the USAF and the newlyweds are spending their honeymoon driving to Las Vegas where Brett is currently stationed. Here are some pictures from their military wedding and saber ceremony...welcome to the Air Force, Britney!

Melanie and Blake - Part II

Okay, so I'm back with more of Melanie and Blake's amazing wedding! For those of you who have asked, the ceremony was held at Peachtree Christian Church...the church was so incredibly beautiful, inside and out, and naturally provided for some incredible shots. The reception was held in the ballroom at the Biltmore. There was a lot of fun to go around at the reception :) I know I say it about every photoshoot, but I truly have so many favorites from every part of this wedding, I simply cannot post them all. So know that these provide a small snapshot of thier day and that there were so many other great details and moments captured...on a personal note, as I look back on these images, I am humbled to be reminded how much I LOVE what I do and how incredibly blessed I am to be able to do it. THANK YOU, Melanie and Blake, for giving that to me. THANK YOU for trusting me with the images of your day. THANK YOU, a million times over. You have truly blessed me more than you will ever know.
